SMS consists of two main areas:

		Site Diary
		Project Registers

Site diaries are traditionally maintained on a daily basis by manual means using text and forms/notepads. The Scenario Site Diary system is intended to replace most of the manual recording. The important aspect of the Site Diary is that it will capture the structured data as well as the general comments/ text.

General features:

		Record essential data in structured form covering weather, time lost, work activities, labour, materials, plant on site for the day, key events
		Integrates to core ACA system
		Safety issues and other S H & E information.

There are several categories of Project Registers:

		Inspections
		Defects & Non-conformances (NCR’s)
		Contract packages – manages contract packages from initial inquiry to contract letting
		QA Checklists
		Test Results
		Bulk Materials.
