The materials come from many suppliers, often requiring inspections prior to shipment.
 

MMTS provides following broad capability:
 
Definition of the Material Items including various dates
  Packaging into cases, containers or loose
  Tracking movements including shipping
  Inspections
  Defects & Non-conformances (NCR’s)
  On-site delivery and handover to erection & commissioning parties
  Bar coding supported.
     
Pocket PC application available to assist field QC staff to inspect and move including applying new bar codes.
